Am I the only one who feels like you repeat the same phrases over (and over again) to your kids? Here are some of my biggies: “Are you buckled up?”, “No touching each other!”, “Did you wash your hands?” And it’s the last one that I must repeat a dozen times each day!
Now I’m not a germaphobe in any way but with three young kids and a busy household, there’s like zero time for anyone to get sick.
So when I send my oldest kiddos off to school, I can only hope they are keeping their hands as germ-free and clean as a 5 and 8 year old can!
Here are some germ-free ways to have a good school year, including how to make a DIY 5-minute back-to-school teacher gift basket…

what a cute idea and fun for your kids too.
This is such a clever and creative way to keep kids’ hands clean. So much more fun than back in the ‘olden days’ of my childhood. No colourful characters in sight! This is a great little DIY for busy moms!
I totaly agree with Jelica… it is a clever cute idea!
Wish they’d had ’em when my kids were little. My son could enter a room, clean and shiny, not touch a thing and exit dirty and sticky! I remember giving Patrick heck for getting dirty. He looked up at me with a VERY disgusted look and said, “But Mama, I’m a normal, small boy.” Oh, yeah, how foolish I was to forget!
Thanks Kathy! I have two such boys. I’m learning to roll with all things boy, lol.
I imagine these would be very helpful to have on hand in the classroom
I love your cute printables and it is great to make sure they clean their hands
This is a great idea. I usually carry one of those germ free hand gels in my purse, but I never thought about sending something like this with the kids to school.
Thank you for sharing at The Really Crafty Link Party.
Nice idea to leave notes in lunches. I used to write I love you type notes but not since this year started. I think the theme for hand washing is clever. Now think up some to advise them of their chores when they get home. “I hope you enjoy this cooked turnip. When you get home you’ll need to clean your room up”. ……Hahahaha! Can you hear my kids groaning from there! It’s a shame they just don’t get my sense of humor. I think I’m a hilarious mum.
