How To Make Fun Mesh Pumpkin Wreath

Do you enjoy making wreaths? With several boxes full of various seasonal wreaths in the garage, I’m clearly a “wreath sucker”. However, the faster I can get the wreath on the door, I can then move on to the next seasonal project!

Supplies:
– Wire wreath form (I used an 18″ form)
– Orange mesh
– Green mesh
– Solid orange ribbon
– Patterned orange and green ribbon
– Scissors

How To Make Easy 5-Step Mesh Pumpkin Wreath

Cover the wire wreath with solid orange ribbon, leaving  a small section (approx. 6-8″) reserved for solid green ribbon.

Tuck the ends under the wrapped ribbon or secure with a piece of clear tape.

Lay out the orange mesh on a flat surface and cut strips about 2″ in width.

Sitting next to your pile of mesh strips, begin to tie each individual strip onto the wreath.

Repeat the same process for the green mesh.

Weave the patterned orange ribbon through the orange mesh. Do the same for green.

I opted for a loopy pattern, skipping every 2-3 mesh ties.

Cut approx. 8″ pieces of ribbon in green, orange and brown colors. Assemble them together and fold them over with pattern side out.

Flip the wreath over so its backside is facing you. Place them in the middle of the green mesh and use one green mesh strip to secure them to the wreath. These ribbons will be the “stem” of the pumpkin!
