Kids and Family
Family projects work best when kids get a real job: cutting, painting, filling, choosing the colors. These are simple enough for little hands and useful enough that the result stays out, from bunny ears for an egg hunt to a sandbox that lasts for years.
Do the sharp and hot parts yourself, like the glue gun, the saw and the rough edges of cans. Hand over the rest and let it look homemade.
Each project lists a skill level, so you can tell at a glance which ones a child can lead and which ones need an adult on the tools.
Where to start: bunny ears and the chalkboard sign are quick wins. The sandbox and the little free library are big projects where kids can help with sanding and painting.
